Since months or years, you enrich your stamp collection. Arrive the moment when you want to expose your stamp collection and to share your lucky finds. Of which material do have you need to expose your stamps? Who to contact? How it is for a regional exposure, a philatelic purse or an exposure of greater scale, here our councils!

To expose its stamps: the hardware requirement

Before you to launch in an exposure of stamps, better is worth being equipped with the adequate material! It is a question of showing your stamps under good conditions: for that, your small works of art must be in safety. The sorters and the albums especially designed for philately are impossible to circumvent and very practical. Easy to transport, they can be laid out on a table and allow the others impassioned to discover your stamps with their rhythm. Think of placing several magnifying glasses at the disposal of the visitors, so that those can admire the details of your stamps. If you choose panels of exposure, take care to protect your installations (layers of album…) with a protective pane nothing to damage.

To emphasize your stamps during an exposure

You ask what you have desire for exposing! If your collection is dense, you will have to make a choice. Will you select stamps according to a precise topic? One period? A geographical zone? An artist? Most important is to privilege a topic which interests you and motivates you. Gather then the stamps which you will expose and do not think of preparing small legends. Anecdotes, precise details, information various… those will allow more on your stamps. You can also join various documents which will poke the curiosity of the visitors. In a general way, you inform to the maximum about the set of themes you present! Lastly, do not hesitate to return to you in various exposures or philatelic purses to see how the participants install their material and emphasize their stamps.
